Two weeks in a row I’ve been pretty rotten at picking the right team. NOT THRILLED. Still though, I think this was another pretty good batch.

That was a very ugly week of football. If the falcons could’ve only pulled it out we would’ve been looking at a slaughter of the big dogs.
Football is crazy in the first month.

Chris Collinsworth:
For years Dave has expressed discontent with Chris’s calling the games but when it’s not the falcons playing, I generally do not watch the games with much volume. The Falcons also rarely get primetime games so I could never much relate to the complaints. The last two weeks have been annoying between the Kelce worship on the Monday night game, which felt amazing as we completed the comeback and the Mahomes is the greatest that you always get during a Chiefs game.
But seriously screw Collinsworth, that was the most blatant biased call of a game. Most of the time it made no sense, and he was just trying to find a way to praise the Chiefs. Man was that a terrible game to listen too. It was a close game with both teams trading the lead but to hear him talk the Falcons may have well been the panthers getting blown out of the stadium. God was it annoying, give me my 1pm Falcon’s games called by Jonathan Vilma’s ‘aint’s bias any day before I hear Chris again.
I liked Hey Darnold better
Collins worth gushes about the Chiefs but even he said it was PI so I don’t see your point.
I don’t care about the penalty, the other 59 minutes and 45 seconds of gametime was just bad announcing. Also, what was up with the lack of replays or issues with replays last night. The NBC broadcast was just bad, Terico had to make multiple references to incorrect camera shots throughout the game.
The Lions offense really tried to get you wrong on another game by not scoring a single point in the second half, but somehow the defense held things together.
The GEQBUS is a fun little meme and will continue to be so until Darnold is revealed to be some kinda asshole like the redditors who post those memes. I’ve seen this movie way too many times.

In your defense, the NFL this season has been bizarro world. Do we really know anything about any of the teams so far? The only sure thing I see at this point is that Matt Lafleur and Kevin O’Connell are really really good coaches.
I think it happens every year, and every year people forget that it happened the year prior. It’s basically Groundhog day, but only applying to our memories of the previous NFL season, lol. All it takes is for a few teams that we all thought would be really good (or really bad) to show they’re the complete opposite after a few weeks, and then the opinion of every team they played changes as a result.
Case in point… I suddenly feel a lot less bad about how badly the Vikings beat the Giants in Week 1. I thought Darnold only looked that good because it was us, but he’s looking like a legit QB out there. I bet those Jets fans who made the “Thank You Giants!” t-shirts a few years back are suuuuuper pleased!
Dave — even though your picks haven’t been great, at least the Giants are keeping pace with the Cowboys in the NFCE
oh, and LOL Browns hahahahahahahaha
Giants/Cowboys game is going to be so much more interesting given the results yesterday. Love watching Nabers make incredible catches then causing so many missed tackles.
Dave, that Saquon Eagle is the most terrifying thing you’ve made since that Desmond Ridder Falcon Homonculus from last season.
