As a Bears fan, (who was just reminded that ‘at least they have a SB’, that isnt in memory, welcome new Bills fan – you know who you are)
As a Bears fan, I think I wanted to see Caleb as Winnie the Pooh just as badly as I wanted the W today.
At least this was an expected loss in the first half of the season. I dont want to ponder if the bears will ruin/stunt him; thats like knowing one’s own demise in a way.
Bear Down & yes, God Hates the Buffalo Bills (see article comment)
We’re alot better, I doubt super bowl level of good given we’ve only played and beaten hot garbage and choke central, but we should at least advance a round in the playoffs if this keeps up.
I’m a Jaguars fan and for the life of me I don’t know what is going on with the team. They have enough talent to be much better than they are playing.
Something must be going on behind the scenes that we don’t know about.
I’m worried it is the same thing that got HC Doug Pederson fired in Philly, ie his absolute loyalty to his BFF OC Press Taylor (who should have been fired last season along with the DC).
I don’t know where else to post this so I’m posting it here. I’m confused on the narrative surrounding Bryce Young. His bad play being blamed on his height doesn’t make much sense, when Kyler Murray and Russell Wilson are both in the league. One’s playing good ball, and the other’s serviceable going into the last years of his career (who’s also been to two Superbowls). Kyler is 5’10. Russ is 5’11. Bryce is 5’10. Is he really a bad QB or suffering in Carolina Hell? Do his coaches just not know how to play a QB who’s average height? Are they trying to make him attack the middle (Something Russ famously does very little of)? I don’t understand
One thing that separates Russ and Kyler from Bryce is scrambling and athleticism. Kyler and Russ make plays with their legs. Bryce has the worst pocket presence in the world and horrid footwork, and he’s basically a pocket passer, so he’s stuck trying to see over big dudes where Russ and Kyler move around to see. There are a lot of instances of Bryce doing little jump passes, an dyou have to imagine a taller QB would not need to do that
I just want to point out that before the season started, Dave posted a comment on X in response to someone who asked what the craziest thing that could happen this season would be or something like that and Dave said “Dennis Allen winning coach of the year”. Like Kaepernick’s Pet Tortiose said, Are the Saints good this year is almost a rhetorical question among us Saints fans.
Seriously though….what kind of bizarro world are we living in in the NFL this week? The Cowboys get blown out…..by the Saints. Is Baker Mayfield and the Bucs establishing themselves as a threat in the NFC? Malik Willis won a game before the Titans did. Minnesota…….what the hell? Sam Darnold did what Aaron Rodgers could not. Let that sink in. One week after almost beating the Lions, the Rams got destroyed by Tiny Kyler and the Cards (that needs to be a band name). The Raiders beat the Ravens. Pittsburgh is 2-0 despite having one of the ugliest offenses in the league, led by Justin Fields. The Bears offense may be worse in spite of all the talent they have at this point. At least for now. And, now the news of Carolina benching Bryce Young for Andy Dalton.
I think the worst thing about being a Jags fan ATM isn’t having just lost to the Browns, or Week 2 overreactions, but that everything problem I have with the team right now are all the exact same problems they had while going 1-5 to close out last year. The defense under Nielsen is absolutely doing their job, but this offense has somehow regressed without injuries and BTJ looking as advertised.
Maybe next week they pull it together for another classic “Powerhouse Bills lose head scratcher to weak team.” game but I don’t think Doug lasts the season with being this bad becoming the norm in Jax.

That Commies win is inspired by Tybalt icing Mercutio, isn’t it?
I had more of a ghost of Tsushima image in my head
Nope don’t know that. The pic just screamed Shakespeare to me.
“Are the Saints good this year?” An unbroken Saint’s fan questions.

So glad the Falcons got a win considering how the rest of the division is doing so far!
That ATL pic is up there with some of your Urban grinding or Sexy Trevors, I need some bleach for my eyes
Months later and I just now noticed that Kirk’s thong is the “T” in “ATL”. Very clever, sir. If I perceived that before, I blocked out the memory.
