Love to make 30 year old sports references. I’m hip and with it. Do any zoomers know who Tonya Harding is? She’s not even technically the one who smashed Nancy Kerrigan but nobody casually remembers the name of the guy who actually did it on her behalf.
Whelp, there’s our first big major injury for the year. At least one to a player most people are aware of. JJ McCarthy damaged his meniscus, and needs surgery, and now it is officially Sam Darnold time.
I don’t know how much this will actually impact the Vikings plans for the year. Darnold was likely going to start the season to begin with, the question was always going to be how long would he last before getting benched. Well, now it’ll be around 6-8 weeks A FULL SEASON! If you are a big Sam Darnold fan here’s your chance to root as hard as you can for the boy to light it up!
I appreciate that our favorite chaos lords are going to enter week 1 as favorites to take the Chaometer to the moon once more.

Vikings fan since 1967. Disappointment level is low when your realistic expectation level was even lower to start with. After all these years, my primary pleasure now comes from the schadenfreud of watching entitled teams and arsewipe players crash and burn in spectacular ways. Get well soon, JJs.
