The final Sean Payton update. I have a few more jokes, but I think at this point I might just be beating a dead horse so I will let them fall into oblivion. I gotta plan Thursday’s comic anyway.
Also, I recently just made a new Art Blog post about the types of football fans.

Anyone else in favor of continuing to beat the dead horse?
Would’ve been funnier if they were on the roof of his Jimmy Johns.
If you’re going to beat a dead horse, you should beat it into the ground. Sean Payton week was a GREAT idea – I think you should have gone all-in with it. Even if some of the strips didn’t work, the cumulative effect of so many strips in rapid succession would have been funny in and of itself.
I appreciate the sentiment. I do wish I could have gone through with it, but the one thing Sean Payton week reminded me of was really how long it takes to make just one good looking comic. Since I do this for fun, not as a job, it’s all free time, and a comic usually eats up over 8 hours of work. I never have that much free time in one day, so updating every day quickly became too much.
I have been debating upping to a twice a week schedule, though. I might be able to pull that off. Though it’ll likely ruin my weekends. Maybe I’ll just make a few more bonus comics till I get a feel for how much time it’ll take up. Two a week feels doable.
