It’s a holiday week why are you reading my silly site? Don’t expect a full comic on Wednesday, but I might still have some fun in store for this week. Gonna try and bring back an old tradition.
Congrats to the Bengals for officially locking up that #1 slot. We all knew you could do it.
The Giants had a win at least? Daniel jones looked good but it’s the badskins. But it was something nice to watch.
Wait so your bringing back an old tradition? Is Peyton Manning gonna send Brady another bomb pizza?
*you’re
Why can’t Miami even tank right.
They shouldn’t have bothered tanking and just gone for it. That’s what happened in 2007 and they went 1-15.
I mean, Cam Cameron’s at a loose end right now, they could have got his useless ass in…
What gets me about the Bengals is that they still seem interested in playing for Zac Taylor. There is, at the very least, SOME effort being made the team. The Browns, on the hand, seem to downright hate playing for Kitchens. I know they are fairly well stocked with talent and expectations were high (way too high, c’mon, you’re the Browns!). They’ve absolutely been poorly coached. But they’ve won way more games under Kitchens than they did with Hue. At least be happy about that.
Also, Happy Holidays, Merry Christmas, and Happy New Year, Dave.
i never wanted a tie more then i did in that bengals game.
jeff risdon over at https://football.realgm.com/analysis/3236/$10-After-NFL-Week-16 pointed out the following:
“Washington seized the second spot by losing to the Giants, also in overtime. The fantasy of having three teams with matching 3-11-1 records (joining the Lions) was narrowly averted when Daniel Jones tossed his fifth TD pass of the day deep into overtime.”
oh how glorious that could have been.
risdon is one of the few football columns i read regularly. he’s a pro, and his articles are intelligent, short, and to the point, with decent writing, and good amounts of flair. seems like a good guy personally, too. check him out.
Andy Dalton had the chance to avoid his replacement getting drafted and he blew it. That is all.
Next worst team would still have 3 wins so to get rid of the first pick in the draft he would have to win another game and have the Redskins loose in week 17 too
Yes, but he just had to win against a Cleveland team that’s quit on the season, and hope Washington lost too or, at even more likely, Miami to lose in Foxboro because they were still in the running for the first overall pick
Is Sexy Rexy coming back???
I can’t believe there hasn’t been 1 comic regarding the 49ers this year.
Good teams are far less interesting to me and terrible sources of content for this site
As a Cowboys fan I need to thank your Giants for losing today. As dirty as it feels for Philly to win at least that should finally, finally be the last nail in Jason Garrett’s coffin
I’m still waiting for the official announcement though, Freddy Kitchens just beat him to the unemployment line
We’re Number One! We’re Number One!!!
Sam Wyche no longer lives in Cincinnati nor anywhere else.
