That is a beautiful pun. Laughed harder than I have at this comic in a long time and I’ve always thought The Draw Play was pretty damn funny.
So what are your thoughts on Keenum apparently getting his start against the Chiefs? As a Broncos fan living in Houston, it’s kind of sad watching all the optimism around the guy playing. I’ve seen arguments from local analysts that Keenum gives the Texans a better shot of beating the Chiefs than Schaub would because Keenum is mobile and that’s what you need to get around the Chiefs’ pass rush. They clearly did not see last week’s game…
I think putting Keenum in against the leading defense in the NFL is like the stupidest thing I could think of and the Texans must be desperate for a fresh approach. This move isn’t made because Keenum is a better option against the Chiefs pass rush, this is a move made because Schaub is hurt and Kubiak is trying to save his job instead of going with the safe option.
I mean, it might work, and everyone on the Texans will look like geniuses, but more likely it won’t.
It almost did work if both Foster & Tate didn’t get hurt & the 3rd string RB get caught smoking weed the night before the game
This is the only time laughing has made me sad.
