Madden 25 had a great ad campaign featuring Kaepernick and Wilson being “madden rivals” and pretending to have a bet going for Sunday Night’s 49ers/Seahawks game. A few media outlets picked it up as if it was a real bet and not part of an ad. Of course, I doubt the media is that stupid, it was probably “picked up as real” as a way to sneakily up the hype and awareness of Madden and the game itself. Sneaky sneaky! Sports reporting is garbage, so on the whole it’s probably just a good general rule to be skeptical about anything like this.

The Trent Richardson trade is just a reaffirmation of what everyone came to accept in 1995; Cleveland is not allowed to have anything worthwhile in its life.

Really? Two of the best teams in the NFL, both lead by coaches who personally dislike each other, both with young mobile QBs, both possessing dominating defenses and a pounding ground game, both representing liberal west coast cities, both in the same division….how is that manufactured?

You realize that was just another fake commercial, right? Kaep still has his old chin beard in that commercial, instead of his current full one. They filmed that months before the game even happened.
I’d wager there is a version with Russell shaving his brow somewhere too. They filmed both, and played the one that corresponded to the outcome.
Apparently there was a mistake on one of the wireless streams where they played the wrong video and it looked like Wilson was shaving his eyebrow.
And there’s no way that his eyebrow would come off that easy.
